Lagarde Says IMF Mission Will Visit Jordan Soon (Bloomberg)

An IMF team will visit Jordan soon, and the "IMF remains committed to supporting the Jordanian authorities’ economic program," IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde said today as she met with Jordanian Prime Minister Omar Al-Razzaz in Washington. She said the Fund teams and Jordan will remain in close consultation on how best to advance policies to unlock needed concessional financing and budget grants ahead of next month’s London Initiative 2019.

(Bloomberg) -- An International Monetary Fund mission will visit Jordan soon and the "IMF remains committed to supporting the Jordanian authorities’ economic program," said IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde in a statement.
